When you add items to your cart, the corresponding information (product references, quantities) is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage) under the key dpg-cart.
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any third party until you finalise your order.
It is automatically deleted when you empty your cart or clear your browser data.
The use of localStorage is strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the online ordering service. It does not require your consent under the GDPR.
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland), acting as a data processor within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) has been signed between Domaine Paul Gadenne and Stripe in accordance with GDPR requirements.
Purpose of processing: personal data collected during payment (name, email address, delivery address) is processed solely for the purpose of fulfilling your purchase contract — i.e. processing, confirming and delivering your wine order. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (performance of a contract).
When you proceed to payment, you are redirected to Stripe's secure platform (domain checkout.stripe.com). Domaine Paul Gadenne does not receive, store or process your bank details. Stripe is certified PCI-DSS Level 1, the highest level of security for payment data.
Stripe operates servers in Europe (Ireland). In the event of a data transfer to the United States, Stripe relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, in accordance with the Data Privacy Framework (2023), ensuring a level of protection equivalent to that applicable within the European Union.

The fonts used on this website (Cormorant Garamond and Montserrat) are self-hosted on our server. No request is sent to Google or any third-party service to load fonts.
This website does not use tracking or profiling cookies. No analytical, advertising or audience measurement cookies are placed on your device.
Stripe may place its own cookies during the payment phase, on its domain (checkout.stripe.com). These cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the secure payment process.
Cart data stored in localStorage is retained until the end of your shopping session or until you clear your browser data. There is no maximum retention period imposed by the website.
Order data transmitted to Stripe is retained in accordance with Stripe's own rules and applicable legal obligations (in particular regarding invoicing).
